My Students
Kindergarten is the best! We are spending our first year of school learning so much. We have 24 students in our classroom and we love learning together. We have many places in our classroom to work together and learn!
We are learning more than just our letters and numbers.
Learning to work together and get along are important parts of our day.
We love meeting together as a whole group. We love meeting together in small groups and we love to work independently as well. We love singing together, dancing, and playing as we learn.
My Project
We have an old, small ABC rug in our room that is worn and has been passed on from teacher to teacher. We meet several times a day at our carpet area and students love doing independent work there as well. Our rug is small, and we can't all fit on the rug comfortably.
As 5 year-olds, we need our space.
It's hard to learn and move and sing when you are touching the person next to you. We are working on getting along and being friends and we really need our space.
We do so many activities on our rug, and we just need a clean, comfortable space to work.
