Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have a brand new 6th grade Crew, a group of 15 students who will meet together with me for 1/2 hour each day for the next 3 years. We have an ethnically diverse group of students, which includes 3 students who communicate differently, 2 who are on IEPs and 2 who are ELL students. One of the students on an IEP has become quite adept at solving the Rubik's cube (his personal record is 20 seconds!). He always has one in his hands and it has piqued the interest of many of the others.
I would like to order a set of 20 cubes so that student can teach the rest of the students (and me) how to solve the cube.
