it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm a first-year physics teacher trying to prepare for an upcoming project on energy conversion. So far this year I've tried to include hands-on engineering projects like an egg drop competition, which was a huge success and lots of fun. As with all physics classes, we do a lot of traditional problems involving formulas or data tables. But my students have voiced their support for more hands-on projects, and I really want to make it work!
My students are in a Title I school, and I aim to provide each group with an equitable baseline of building materials.
My classroom is missing basic craft supplies, so I'm asking for scissors and glue guns to serve as a class set. I'm excited to see what kinds of crazy machines they come up with, and I'm even more excited to see them collaborating with their peers and exercising their creativity.
