RTI for Struggling Learners

Help me give my students an organized space for their participation in our school's RTI program. With four tutors that service all grade levels, the 6 tier trays, and storage bins will keep everything easily accessible.

My Project

At our school, RTI is one of the top priorities to help with struggling learners. Each quarter, our RTI program services approximately 70-80 students. In our program, we have four tutors, three focusing on reading and one focusing on math. Students are serviced at least 30 minutes four days a week in grades K-5.

The supplies listed in the project will help the tutors organize the materials needed to work with the students to maximize the time spent in intervention.

The 6-tier trays and storage bins will keep all the different grade levels' materials separated and easily accessible. The supplies (whiteboards, expo pens, erasers, card stock, sheet protectors) will be utilized during the sessions with the students. Stickers and Stamp pens are used as incentives to motivate students during their time with the tutors.

The students who receive RTI are usually those who are struggling in the classroom and lack confidence. It is our hope through our RTI system, that we build up these students to feel confident and successful so that they can continue to have positive experiences in school.
