My Students
My class this year consists of twenty-eight fifth graders!
I am lucky to be teaching fabulous students that are extremely excited to be back on campus for their final year of elementary school.
They are ready to learn and be successful leaders on campus. After over a year at home on distance learning, they are determined to always do their best and they are certainly showing me how much they are enjoying being back at school.
My Project
After many years teaching third grade, my book shelves are full of third grade level reading books. It's time for an update now that I'm teaching fifth grade! Though my students enjoy the books I have in class for fun reading, they need to have more options to read at their proper grade level. The folding bench will provide a great seating option that doesn't take up to much space when they are in small group reading as well.
Recess time has been tough with Covid since they cannot go outside when too many other classes are out at once.
Having the Motorola radio will allow our class to get in touch with the office easier while outside, thus allowing us more flexible times to be able to use the field and playground and get their bodies moving.
