Rowing for Fitness

My students need a new air rower for our fitness room.

My Students

Here at our school, we have many diverse students with many different needs. I work with a variety of students with different learning disabilities who each require individual educations.

I teach at an inner city school and have about 15 students on my caseload.

My students have a variety of needs and I have never seen more diverse needs in one school. I try my best to reach all students on my caseload to make them feel safe and comfortable, and give them the education they deserve.

My Project

We are in the process of getting a new and improved fitness room. Over the past few months we have have had a few projects funded through Donors Choose that will support the new fitness room.

We are asking for a new air rower to help our students get in shape.

An air rower is something that will help with their arms, leg, and core strength. Students at this age level have requested this type of machine because it relates to their body strength and they may have used it before at another fitness room.

We are trying to reach the needs of all students and trying to have enough equipment in there to support off their needs and wants.
