This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our classroom community is made up of a diverse group of kindergarten students who vary in ethnicity, home language, socioeconomic status, and learning style.
We are committed to creating equitable learning environments in which all children can grow academically and socially.
We believe in a rigorous curriculum, and aim to support student learning through project-based learning. These projects will help us demonstrate our learning in ways that are meaningful to us. Students are given the opportunity to direct their own learning and are empowered to express their understanding in their unique way.
My Project
Students are off to a great start this school year! We're excited to be learning together and exploring the classroom together. We have established routines and a predictable schedule to help us thrive.
We are in need of more opportunities at our stations to build our understanding of letters, numbers, stem concepts and more!
These learning kits will round out our stations and give us new things to develop our understanding of Kindergarten concepts. The art supplies will help spark our creativity and the dolls will support our imaginative play during choice time. The printer, toner, laminating sheets and more will help me prep more games, sorts and activities for students to learn at school and home.
