This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There are many challenges facing my students and one of them is to master their math skills.

I teach a wonderful group of fifth grade students.

Most of them are economically disadvantaged and come from homes where resources are lacking. Nonetheless, they come to school everyday eager to improve their math skills. They have been studying diligently to improve, but still need a few resources to get a little boost with their math skills.

My Project

These math resources are just what my students need to further improve their math skills. The Real World Math activities will enable my students to relate math to real life situations. The Take to Your Seat activities will help my class strengthen many math strategies during station time. The Math and Literature resources will help integrate the two subjects during learning. The Daily Problems will provide a quick practice as we begin our lesson.
