it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our new Learning Lab has replaced our current computer lab with STEM-inspired stations developed with collaboration and commitment to learning in mind. Existing and new devices as well as seating arrangements provide technological diversity, remove barriers, and provide access and equity for all students.
Within our new Learning Lab, the Fun Factory station offers students the opportunity to learn Engineering by designing 3D models using TinkerCAD, a computer-aided design (CAD) software for children.
Once created, students will learn how to export, slice, and print their designs on our MakerBot 3-D printer using a layer-by-layer method. Students will also learn the post process by ensuring that all technology is clean and ready for the next user.
