My students need several items to make the school day easier for everyone, such as write and wipe pockets, dry erase markers, and privacy partitions. All things requested in this project will make math and reading rotations effective and run more smoothly.

My Students
The United States has been called, "The Land of Opportunity." Most citizens can describe the traditional "American Dream" as the right and ability to carve out any life you choose. Unfortunately, for children, not all opportunities are equal.
The good teacher makes the poor students good and the good student superior.
My students come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds and vastly varied socioeconomic lifestyles. Each child comes with their own life experiences, strengths, and weaknesses. They all want to feel safe and successful, and every one of them brings the need and desire to be loved.
My students are curious, humorous, and zealous. They enjoy learning with their eyes, ears, and hands. As a classroom family, students work together, learn from each other, and strive for personal goals of personal best.
My Project
As I begin to prepare for a new school year, I reflect on previous years and decide what worked well... and what did not work at all in terms of classroom procedures and methods of teaching. I have bettered myself this past year in the area of small group rotations in both math and reading, and I was able to see a substantial improvement in several areas- work ethic, teamwork, and overall test scores being a few.
A good teacher is a teacher who will do anything possible to give their students everything possible in order to be successful, and that is my ultimate goal.
Each of the items included in this project will allow my students to embrace the method of small group/rotational teaching and learning easily. Each school year, I create games and instructional enhancements continuously to place in the different centers used daily. This will allow me and my students to get the most out of instructional time.
