My Project

As we have all witnessed, children are struggling more and more with expressing and coping with intense emotions. My counseling room and calm-down corner are a vital part of our school, and our students deserve a space where they can learn important skills as well as rest, relax and recharge. My goal is to have a counseling space to allow for the most comfortable environment to allow for open discussion, growth and the feeling of safety. Along with individual counseling, the Flex-Seating couch allows for open space for group counseling, conflict resolution, and lunch groups.
