This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are third through fifth graders who are full of energy. The students have adapted to the challenges thrown at them this past year and are not only surviving, but thriving in this very different environment. My students come from very diverse backgrounds. They love reading diverse books, participating in maker space activities and STEM challenges and are very curious. There are over 1,400 students in our school! They are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. My special education students are all amazing kids!
A kidney table would provide an excellent workspace as we work hard in small groups.
As students work with me in a small group, they will be able to move along together in a common open space to collaborate effectively.
