it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Hello to all you wonderful donors out there, I hope this note finds each of you doing well. Room 7 has a project up and a couple more on the horizon in preparation for the new school year already! Before that though, I want to see if we can get this project funded so that Room 7 students can show their knowledge and expertise about community workers and how each of them has a specific role to play in our cities and towns. Another item being requested is a pack of tactile liquid letters! These are (washable) concrete letter shapes that my students can engage with and manipulate so that they can not just see the letters, but actually interact with and manipulate them.
Students in Room 7 each have multiple disabilities with orthopedic impairments.
It is not as easy to interact and engage with learning materials that are not specifically adapted for their needs.
Any help to fund our projects is a win for students not as typical as the norm.
