Help me give my students tangible materials to work with during distance learning! All students, but especially for students with disabilities, need to have hands-on activities to link the learning made online to the real world.

My Students
Hello! This project will benefit special education students in Chicago. My students are kindergarteners, 1st graders and 2nd graders with significant disabilities. While I have not yet met my students, I cannot wait to get to know them and everything that makes them tick!
My Project
This project will help to engage my students in distance learning! Every week, I will deliver a box of tangible materials for students to use throughout the week to supplement what they are learning on the computer. White boards and markers will help to practice reading and writing skills, adaptable scissors will work on students' fine motor skills, and math manipulatives will give my students something tangible to count, add and subtract with. Getting these materials paid for will alleviate financial burden from my families, and give every student an equal opportunity to learn.
