I need to experience the magic of the Ron Clark Academy to learn from the most influential, passionate educators who are changing the game of education!
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach a classroom of 28 diverse and inquisitive students at a Title I school of nearly 90% students qualifying for free-reduced lunch. Regardless of their obstacles, these students come to school each day, ready to learn something new!
It is my job to engage and inspire these students, and create in them a love of lifelong learning through practices that reflect their diversity, individuality, and needs!
My students deserve an amazing educational experience and the hope instilled in them that they can do anything they set their minds to!
My Project
The Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia is unlike any other school in the world! After seeing Mr. Clark speak, and reading and following this school and its educators for years, it has been in my heart to visit the place where the magic unfolds. This two-day, high-energy educational EXPERIENCE will leave me feeling inspired and ready to bring the same enthusiasm and new, innovative ideas back to my classroom!
Academic rigor combined with true engagement is THE most powerful tool to challenge our students to push their limits!
I want my students' experiences in my classroom each day to be one they will remember forever, and one they will use to change the world!
By experiencing the Ron Clark Academy LIVE with its extraordinary students and educators, I will return to some of the most at-risk students with the ability to help them realize the importance of their education through fresh, engaging strategies and excitement for learning!
