My Students

The American Dream still lives! My students are proof that the belief of achieving a successful future through hard work and perseverance is still alive.

Our school is made up of over two thousand students, the majority of whom come from single family homes and parents trying to earn a decent living to support their families.

My students are made up of immigrant children. Many of them will be the first of their family to graduate from a high school here in the U.S. This is a great accomplishment!

My Project

Who is Shakespeare? When asked that question, many students know him as the guy who spoke and wrote in a weird way. With the requested five Lenovo Chromebooks students will do research about Shakespeare and theater to understand what makes him so special to literature. They will also use the Google Consoles to write and collaborate (Google docs) on a project where students will argue and present (Google slides) their claim as to who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet.

This donation will help students with the ethical responsibilities and process of research, writing, and presenting to their peers.

These Lenovo Chromebooks will be used beyond this project by giving students the resources to research any topic and to be able to use various technological resources.
