My Project
For many years, I’ve been fortunate to have my own classroom as a cluster teacher, a dedicated space where I could create a stable, hands-on learning environment for my students. However, due to recent changes aimed at reducing class sizes—a positive step for student learning—I no longer have a permanent classroom of my own. While this change supports the needs of our growing student population, it will leave me, in a sense, “homeless,” moving from room to room throughout the day with all of my materials in tow.
This transition will be challenging.
Without a consistent space, it will be difficult to maintain the kind of structured, engaging, and interactive experiences that I know help my students thrive. I am committed to continuing to provide hands-on, meaningful learning opportunities, no matter where I’m teaching. But to do that, I need a mobile solution.
That’s why I’m asking for your support in funding a sturdy, well-organized teacher cart. With this cart, I will be able to transport materials, manipulatives, lesson supplies, and student work efficiently and safely between classrooms. It will serve as my “moving classroom,” helping me stay prepared, organized, and ready to give my best to each group of students I meet.
