My Project
The students at my high school are always seeking to go bigger and do more in their efforts to create excellent examples of live Theatre. In order to accomplish this goal, they need adequate tools and supplies to use and learn how to create. One area we would like to excel in is our Lighting design. However at present reaching the grid the holds the lights is not possible without unsafe ladders. The lessons in technical theater class would benefit if students could reach, see and touch the lighting elements in their locations. In order to do this safely we need a rolling staircase that is safe for students to use. Their desire to always learn and do more is inspiring and challenges me as a teacher to equip them with the skills they will use as they continue to create. Join me in helping these dedicated students grow in their skills by helping to provide this needed tool.
