My Project

Our school has six compost piles constructed from old pallets and chicken wire. They do the job, but are very labor intensive, unsightly, and the students have to wait over a year to see the end result. We use them to compost our garden green waste as well as fruit cores and banana peels from the cafeteria.

These compost tumblers will help speed up the composting process of recycling our garden green waste and food scraps.

It will allow students to see the change at a fraction of the time.
