My Project
Every day, my students gather together for read-alouds, morning meetings, mini-lessons, and collaborative problem-solving. These moments are the heart of our classroom—when we build trust, share ideas, and grow as a community. From welcoming our newest classmates to reinforcing classroom routines, these gatherings ensure everyone feels included, safe, and valued.
I’d love to add a double-sided magnetic easel on wheels to our classroom.
This easel will allow me to:
Display anchor charts that stay visible throughout lessons
Model writing and math strategies front-and-center
Use magnetic letters, numbers, and visuals to support interactive learning
Move smoothly between whole-group instruction, small groups, and independent centers
The rolling feature ensures I can engage every part of the room during morning meetings and instruction—without being glued to one spot.
With this easel, we’ll foster independence and collaboration. Students will take ownership by contributing to charts. We’ll anchor topics like growth mindset, reading strategies, and empathy-building there. As our community grows, the easel will be a visual hub that reminds us of what matters: kindness, curiosity, and connection.
