This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school is a Title I school, with 77.2% of our students coming from low-income backgrounds. My classroom includes both general education and special education students, each bringing unique strengths and challenges. I strive to use a variety of teaching methods to create an engaging and meaningful learning experience for all.
The sports cart will help keep all of our outdoor equipment organized, easily accessible, and ready for use during outdoor learning centers.
By having a reliable way to transport and store equipment, we can maximize our time focusing on skill-building, teamwork, and physical activity during P.E. instead of wasting time searching for or carrying items. This will encourage students to take responsibility for equipment care and foster a more efficient, structured environment for learning and growth.
The main goal is to enhance the physical education experience for my students by ensuring they have quick and organized access to the tools they need to succeed. I want to create a more efficient way to set up and clean up, leaving more time for active participation and engagement. Additionally, I hope to instill a sense of pride and ownership in students as they contribute to maintaining their learning environment.
My students are a diverse group of passionate, hard-working individuals who thrive when given opportunities to grow and succeed. They bring enthusiasm, determination, and unique perspectives to every activity. Despite limited resources, they show up every day eager to learn, collaborate, and give their best effort. They deserve tools that support their dedication and help them feel valued and empowered to achieve their full potential.
