This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, resilient, and full of untapped potential. We learn in a Title I school, and while our town faces economic challenges, my classroom is a sanctuary where those barriers shouldn't limit a child's imagination. My students are hands-on learners who thrive when they can touch, build, and test their ideas, but they often lack access to high-quality STEM materials at home.

I am seeking support to build a "Creative Mobile STEM Station" featuring Strawbees starter sets, Tinker Toys, and a sturdy rolling cart to house it all.

By having these resources on a mobile cart, STEM won't be confined to a single desk or a specific hour of the day. Whether we are exploring structural integrity with Strawbees or practicing fine motor engineering with Tinker Toys, this station will move throughout our campuses to support collaborative group work and independent discovery. These materials will allow students throughout the elementary and middle school to transition from consumers of technology to creators of solutions.

Your donation will do more than provide "toys"; it will provide the tools for students in a high-poverty area to see themselves as the architects and engineers of tomorrow.
