My Students

I am blessed to teach students from Kindergarten through 5th grade in my STEM lab. No matter the grade level, the students in my school are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions!

They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!

They come to STEM lab each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow as leaders both personally and academically. Their constant love of learning is a true inspiration.

My Project

Sphero Sprk+ robots will help my students grow in their 21st century learning skills . I will use the Spheros to introduce my students to coding as they work in collaborative groups solve various real-world problems. One example is students will use the Sphero as a source of erosion to model the effects of erosion. Another example is students will use Sphero to explore force and motion as the Sphero moves through water with and without waves.

Sphero Sprk+ robots give students the opportunity to learn the basics of coding as they engage in hands-on exploration of the state science standards.
