It is crucial for children to develop their skills within the STEM disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It is also crucial for students to develop their literacy skills. Literacy skills such as reading and researching are vital to understanding STEM concepts and success in STEM. In order to bring reading skills and STEM together, I am requesting picture books that I can integrate into my STEM lessons. Bringing STEM and literacy together through engaging picture books will help students make connections for deeper student understandings as they construct, build, invent, design, solve problems, engineer, tackle science subjects and so much more.
