This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Flexibility plays a key role in how students learn, collaborate, and stay engaged. A variety of rolling dry-erase boards will help transform our classroom into a space where students can think out loud, share ideas, and work together more effectively. Different board sizes will support different needs—from quick small-group check-ins to full-class presentations.

Our only stationary whiteboard is fixed at the front of the room, which limits movement and interaction.

Having mobile boards means I can bring instruction directly to small groups, and students can use them to explain their thinking without leaving their workspace. This simple change will boost both independence and participation.

Adding multiple rolling whiteboards will also help create flexible learning zones around the room. Students will have more opportunities to engage actively with content, solve problems collaboratively, and visually map out their ideas. The variety ensures every student group has the right tools to support their learning style and task.
