Rolling Flavors: Illuminating Culinary Creativity on Wheels
Help me give my students the supplies needed to turn their graphic design food trucks into a 3D model. This includes aprons, cardboard sheets, and more.
Welcome to Rolling Flavors, a unique 3D graphic design project that brings together creativity, design, and culinary arts. In this project, students will embark on a journey to create a vibrant and dynamic food truck brand from scratch.
The project involves designing a captivating logo that represents the essence of the food truck.
Students will also create a business card that reflects the brand’s identity and an apron that employees would be proud to wear.
But that’s not all! The centerpiece of the project is the creation of a 3D model of a food truck. This isn’t just any food truck model - it will have working wheels and headlights, bringing a touch of realism to the design. Students will use Sustainable Materials to design their 3D food trucks using sustainable or recycled materials. This could include using biodegradable filaments for 3D printing or sourcing materials from local suppliers to reduce carbon footprint.
This project encourages students to think outside the box and combine different elements of design to create a cohesive brand. It’s not just about creating individual items, but about how all these elements come together to form a complete, marketable brand.
