My Project

Our classroom recently received a new smartboard that offers incredible opportunities for interactive learning, but it requires a separate keyboard, mouse, and special markers, unlike our previous model. Since it’s not connected directly to my laptop, we need a dedicated way to access and control the board during lessons. Right now, the keyboard and mouse are stuck in one place, which limits who can use them and when. This creates a barrier for students who could benefit from more hands-on interaction, especially those who learn best through movement or need alternative access points.

I’m requesting a rolling desk to hold the keyboard and mouse so that my students can move them around the room as needed.

This would make the smartboard far more accessible for all learners, general education students, English learners, and students receiving special education services. It will allow students to take turns leading activities, navigating digital content, or engaging in interactive lessons from anywhere in the classroom. With your support, we can create a more inclusive, collaborative, and flexible learning environment.
