My Students
My students are an amazing group of seventh and eighth grade students in Wisconsin. Along with my two teaching partners, we see all 950 students in two days!
Our students love to be challenged and enjoy new experiences with activities and lessons.
Every student deserves to have a quality physical education and health class. We are always looking for supplies, equipment, and resources to make this happen!
Our curriculum is ever-changing to make real-world experiences for our students! We love adding lifelong activities to keep our students moving.
My Project
My middle school physical education department is working on creating a lifelong activities unit that addresses critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration within the physical education setting. It is also very COVID safe, so we can be socially distant while being physically active.
Rollerblading is a great way to bring enjoyment, physical activity and learn a lifelong activity!
We can teach rules of the road, safety, and showcase areas in our community where there are trails.
Within this unit, students will be challenged to collaborate with their peers, use problem solving skills, use critical thinking skills, and will benefit from physical activity. These rollerblades can be used by all department areas, and can be used interdisciplinary between multiple subjects.
