My Project
This project will allow students to explore Newton's Laws of Motion and structure design! Following the Engineering Design Process, students will design and build a marble paper roller coaster that meets given specifications. Their roller coasters will exhibit how gravity, air resistance, and friction act on the marble, as well as how craftsmanship plays a key role in a structure's success. This STEM unit will be possible with the supplies donated by generous donors, and will allow our gifted students to challenge and grow their creative and critical thinking skills!
