My Project

Who doesn't love a good roller coaster? My students in 8th grade learn about energy force and motion. These materials will help them to connect the concepts to a real-world experience, building roller coasters.

When students build paper roller coasters they learn about teamwork, they get to be creative and show their understanding of physics.

Paper roller coasters are fun, exciting, and a challenge. The students have to work together to design, continuously test, and build their roller coasters. They get to act like real-world scientists and engineers.
