This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Kindergarten is such an exciting group of mixed interests, abilities, and goals. I have a wonderful group of five-year-olds that love learning and using hands-on instructional materials. Some of my students are learning to read, write, and count, while some of their classmates are learning to imitate sounds. My group loves to play outside, learn new games, and boogie to a sweet tune.

They love having different opportunities to grow and develop through play, which is the way children learn best!

My Project

All of our students love to learn in fun ways. These hands-on pocket dice will provide a fun way for our students to master essential skills for success. This is great for whole-class, small-group, and individual play. Each cube can provide a group of students with up to six different problems for math, six different sight words we are focusing on at the time, writing prompts, and just so much more. Different groups can work with different cubes, which will allow me to adjust the cards so that the cubes best match the needs of every learner in the group.
