Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When a student shows positive behavior for using kind words or reaches an academic goal, teachers reward them with praise. In my classroom, students not only receive praise for their achievement, they also receive a point on a point system to earn a prize.

Incentives for students lets them know their hard work and behavior is appreciated.

I believe this promotes the feeling of pride in students. As students achieve and earn points they will continue to be motivated. Especially when they receive a reward of their choice from the treasure box.
