My Project
My students are avid readers! For the last few years, we have competed in our District's annual Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl. We are getting better and better!
Your support will allow every student to have the books they need to read this summer and fall to prepare for next year's Reading Bowl!
By participating in this competition, my students get to practice their reading comprehension skills as well as their teamwork and social-emotional skills.
The Reading Bowl competition is so valuable to my students' progress in reading, not only because they love to read and compete, but also because it exposes them to great children's literature that they might not otherwise read. Win win!
