My Students

We are a new charter school entering our fifth year. We focus on classical education to provide a firm foundation for their education. Since we are just beginning school, we are still collecting supplies to help the students learn to read and explore the world.

In early elementary, the main focus is on learning to read.

I have wonderful students who are eager to learn, and I hope I can open the door to the wonderful world of literature throughout life.

My Project

The hands-on fossils, rocks, and shark teeth will let my class explore science hands-on. They will be able to see and feel these natural elements which will spark their curiosity and lead to discovery. I hope to make a science table in my room with objects like these for the kids to gain some tactile knowledge.

The books will teach my first grade class about the world.

They will model behavior to teach character. The books will also help them learn about science and history through stories. Hopefully these lessons will stay with them all of their lives.
