My Project

My students are obsessed with rocks and fossils and are constantly checking out books on these subjects from our school library as well as researching them online. Several students have mentioned how much they would enjoy having a rock club at our school.

Having rock and fossil kits would really enhance my students' learning and give them hands-on experience with a subject matter they greatly love.

These materials would be used during Rock Club as well as during library classes to support our learning. We would read materials about rocks and fossils and examine educational websites and local learning resources in addition to our usage of the kits.
