This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
All my students are deaf and hard of hearing. They are working on developing their listening and spoken language. All my students are very hard workers and love learning new things.
All my students love coming to school every day and learning!
Most of my students don't have the opportunity to have access to technology at home. They love exploring the internet and playing interactive games to enhance their learning!
My students get a lot of support through visuals and constant exposure to materials. This helps them understand the curriculum taught and gets them even more excited!
My Project
All my students in 1st grade love going to school! Unfortunately under the current circumstances, my students and I are unable to go to school and we are learning remotely from home. We are doing the best we can and working hard to keep the learning going! I hope that we can go back soon and I can see all my students' smiling faces!
To finish up the rest of the school year, we would love to create more art projects using these paintbrushes and scissors.
We can create masterpieces that show off our artistic abilities. I also would love to continue to support my students' sight word knowledge and how to use them in a sentence. Reading comprehension is also important. My kids love hands-on activities and visuals. The reading comprehension puzzle will support my students with reading and comprehension at the same time in a fun and creative way! The game "splash" will be another fun way for my kids to work on their blends and digraphs. The magnetic folder bins and date stamper will help me organize all the materials so I can implement all my amazing lessons to help teach my students every day! I hope that my students have the opportunity to receive all these materials and activities to help them to continue to learn the rest of the year!
