This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This past week we celebrated World Read Aloud Day. We invited lots of visitors into our classroom to share their favorite books and read to us.
While our visitors were here, we realized that our rocking chair was on it's last leg and needs to be replaced.
We would love to add a new rocking chair to our classroom, one where not only visitors can sit to read and share stories with us, but one where my students can sit to present their own books and their own projects from. This new chair would be perfect to highlight our littlest authors and their hard work all while teaching them valuable public speaking skills.
