My Students

My 3rd grade music classes are so fun and full of energy! They love every thing about music class, especially instruments. They are so engaged and so eager to learn as soon as they come into class! I want my 3rd grade music students (around 200) to be able to use recorders to develop their musical skills even further! Recorders are a great way to have hands-on learning about music! With recorders, students will be able to learn about music while having tons of fun!!

My Project

By having recorders in my music classroom, 3rd grade students will have the opportunity to develop and enhance their musical skills! The recorder will be the first instrument most of these students play! The recorder is a great way to teach note names, note values, and blending sounds as an ensemble.

With these recorders, it will also teach students important life skills like listening to others, working as a group, and not giving up.

This is the best way to enhance musical ability in the classroom. Because 3rd grade comes to music twice a week, their musicality will GROW with recorders!
