My Students
Our students are brilliant scholars who are preparing to be college graduates. The mission of our school is to "to prepare 100% of students for college acceptance and graduation through a preK to 12 superhighway which cultivates culturally aware critical thinkers and leaders."
Our school's values are scholarship, leadership, excellence, and grit, and our students reflect those values everyday.
My Project
Our scholars are hungry for exciting YA books! Our school currently does not have a library where students can check out books, so choices are limited to what teachers are able to keep in their classrooms. I would love to expand our classroom library to be packed with amazing titles for students to dive into.
We know how valuable reading for pleasure is for our students, this will help them on their academic and literacy journey!
It's also important that students have choices that reflect themselves, their interests, and their dreams while expanding their understanding of the world.
