Help me give my students the chance to look at rock sample hands-on instead of having to use pictures to classify them.

My Project
Hands-on learning is always more fun than looking at a computer or picture. Studying physical rocks samples will allow students see how rocks can have different physical appearances, but if they are made of the same materials, they are the same type of rock.
My goal for this project is to create/refill the kits that are in the classroom from the previous teachers.
Being a new teacher (yr 3), I do not have personal supplies that I can share with the students.
Many of my students have had little to no experience using notes and descriptions to determine the difference and identify different types of rocks. Having hands-on experience will help them learn how to use investigative skills to come to conclusions about what they are looking at.
