Help me give my students the opportunity to expand their learning by participating with the school's radio station by creating merchandise they can sell at concerts to help them learn about the economics of Rock & Roll
I teach a history of Rock and Roll class, next year my students will be collaborating with our Radio class to study the economics and process of how live music venues work and how bands make money.
This hands on, student led business project will help them get a better real world understanding of how the music industry works.
By working together with multiple classes and multiple events students will see how being part of the music industry can be more than just about creating music. Students will have the opportunity to earn class credit, business experience, and possibly a bit of extra money through the use of this button press as they work to build merchandise for the high school's local concerts.
