Rock Painting on Field Day

Help me give my students paint pens to decorate rocks that will be displayed in the front garden.

My Project

Field Day is always a fun event at the end of the year where students participate in over 25 different activities. The activities include individual challenges, partner games, music, and art projects.

This year's Field Day theme is the Olympics.

The activities will focus on games that are played (modified) in the Summer Olympics. Examples are running races, javelin throw (pool noodle), airplane design (athletes have to get to Paris), pizza delivery relay (the athletes have to eat), rowing (ergs), kayaking (scooters), archery, and karaoke.

One station will be rock painting. The rocks will be available for students to paint and will be displayed in the front garden of the school. Paint pens work best for painting designs on the rocks.
