My Students

My energetic, all-boy, under-privileged students deserve to have the opportunities to discover the world! My class has such a huge heart for learning despite their circumstances. They come from hard home lives and we provide a safe and loving place for them to learn. Through donors choose I hope to provide a little more of the world for them to explore. They love science and social studies and this next project gives them just that! An adventure awaits them nearby!

My Project

Having gemstone mining kits for our students to use will enhance their learning of the rock unit we are about to begin. These students have never sifted through gemstones and will love this hands on experience. When they get to touch the rocks and identify them, they will truly learn how different the rocks can be.

Rock our socks off is about bringing excitement to science!

STEM is a big part of our 4th grade classroom. We want our boys to gain as much hands on experience as possible so they will learn to love science as much as we do!
