My Students
I teach a class of 22 energetic and eager kindergarten students who are excited to learn and explore with our class every day. In our classroom, we work hard, ask questions, make mistakes, laugh together, and learn alongside each other. We work hard to learn from our experiences and make individual and class improvements every day.
Kindergartners have shown me they always make the best of any situation; it's my job to create the best opportunities and provide them with a good start.
We are a part of a small school providing for grades Pre-K through 5th. My students love to explore, get messy, imagine, and create.
My Project
Music is magic. Especially when it comes to the development of a child’s brain. Music helps children to use the various parts of their brains simultaneously. Music also stimulates a child’s frontal lobes, which are important to both language and motor development. Because movement causes the brain to produce endorphins, chemicals that increase both the child’s energy levels and ability to learn, combining music and movement helps students to not only be engraved, but soak up as much as they can from these engaging lessons. With your help, my students will have the opportunity to flourish in a learning environment full of music and music games!
