Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The two books I wish to receive will be great read-aloud books. "I Can't Do That Yet" is a great book for students to learn about growth mindset. "The Smart Cookie" teaches about mindfulness and emotional learning. It motivates kids to be courageous. My students are blessed to have a volunteer reader come in once a week. She will be super excited to read these books to my class.

A sparkly clean classroom is where we like to be!

The Lysol wipes and paper towel will help us with that! We clean our classroom every Friday. I think it's a great opportunity to teach the kids a lifelong skill and they thoroughly get excited for cleaning day! The tissues will help with our sniffling noses-cold weather is approaching and we sometimes go through a box of tissues a day!
