My Students

My kids love to learn! A typical day in class involves critical thinking/problem solving, collaboration, creativity and performance, all in an effort to keep them engaged and learning. Remarkably, my students remain excited about learning despite the absence of technology and high interest reading options. My students are brilliant and deserve challenging resources at their fingertips!

Nestled along the beautiful beaches of Florida, my school is an amazing learning space that provides families a great public school option.

Because funding is scarce, teachers are often left to hunt and gather resources to keep kids excited about learning. Having a stocked class library is just one step toward providing my students with tools they need to be successful.

My Project

Programmable robots, robotics kits, and Chromebooks will be used in our class to help students further their STEM skills. Students will use the robots and robotics kits as a challenging way to engage with the content from across disciplines. They will write digital plans, build, then program their work-bots to do tasks in our classroom. We've been doing virtual field trips to see science and engineering projects completed by students across the world. It would be phenomenal for my students to have the opportunity to think critically, problem solve, program, and code in real time in our classroom.

My students are brilliant and would love access to STEM units and technology to keep them engaged and excited about our class content.

They welcome every task with enthusiasm, yet unfortunately don't have the resources needed to expose them to 21st century challenges. An investment in our class means students eager to grow & learn will be rewarded.
