My students attend one of the highest performing schools in our district...and they are to be celebrated for their achievements! We are part of one of the largest urban school districts in the country. Despite budget cuts, the lack of resources, and limited access to technology... my kids are passionate, engaged, and motivated learners. They come from a variety of backgrounds including non-native English speakers, students from low socioeconomic areas, and students from some of the wealthiest areas of town. I love watching this melting pot of diverse learners collaborate, create, and debate daily in my classroom. They are truly amazing children who love learning.
