My Project

We need an iPad to help us with our Lego Engineering. Once the students create their engineering designs, they connect a sensor to their Lego design and that sensor will Bluetooth to the iPad. They use the iPad app to then code their creation to do thousands of commands.

Coding is the language of the future and our students need to be fluent!

It is so important that our students begin learning the language of coding at a young age. It is the fastest growing industrial need. If we can prepare the students at a young age, they will have an edge in the workforce.

Engineering design also helps students learn to work together. Problem-solving and redesigning are the key factors in success. I want to give my students the opportunity to experience the design process in elementary so that they can carry these skills to their future and their future careers.
