My Students

My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are inspiring to me as well as to each other.

Many of them come to school looking to explore ideas they never thought of before.

They get extremely excited to do as many hands-on activities as they possibly can!

My Project

This project is for a MINDSTORMS Eductation EV3 Core Set. These materials will give my students hands on and highly engaging activities to learn computer science. My students are very curious about coding and how that applies to the real world! Th Mindstorms Education EV3 would allow my students to design, build and program their own creation while having to work collaboratively with other students. The student would begin to learn how most everything in the world is designed by coding. The more engaging of an activity I can provide the more interested the students will be (especially the girls!!) My goal this year is to provide more engaging STEAM and Conouter Science lessons to attract the girls in the classroom to want to increase their desire to engage in more computer science and technology.
