Robotics Equipment for a World-Class Robotics Competition Team
Help me give my students the reusable FIRST Tech Challenge competition kit and updated parts and tools for an epic competition robot and robotics program.
My robotics club and competition team students are determined to acquire deep knowledge in engineering and programming through FIRST Tech Challenge! They love the creative process of designing, programming, and building their robot so much that they devote their free time before school, during school, and after school to teach themselves and each other these skills. They look forward to the exciting competitions.
For my inquisitive, creative, and motivated 9th-12th grade students, robotics club is more than a passion and a learning activity -- it is a home where they are encouraged and supported by their peers in all ways.
It’s a new school year and my new and continuing robotics club members are just getting geared up. I am so proud to offer this home to them where my door is always open.
But we need community support to provide the competition equipment, tools, and competition game set that the team needs to take this program to the next level! We greatly appreciate the support of our devoted community.
My Project
The robotics equipment I am requesting will allow the San Clemente High School Robotics Club and Competition Team to update and expand its robotics equipment so that it can build a competitive robot to compete in robotics competitions through the well-respected and organized FIRST Tech Challenge program. They long to have the resources to build and program a robot that can be competitive during the competition season and certainly do not lack the drive to accomplish this feat.
Having the ability to design and build a robot based on updated electronics and more reliable robotics parts will propel my students on their quest for excellence in engineering and programming through the FIRST Tech Challenge program and prepare them for the future.
We just sent the founding members of our club off to college this fall and it is clear that their experience with robotics offered through this program played a huge role in preparing them for their exciting futures in engineering, computer science, and other STEM fields. Please help me support these talented, motivated, and creative kids and keep this club's assets current for all the future engineers and scientists that this public school club serves!
